Founding Designer

General Diffusion is a foundational AI research lab establishing the scientific discipline of Compute Intelligence. We build frontier models that learn the physics of heterogeneous hardware, decoupling intelligence from infrastructure.
<br/>About the role
As the Founding Designer, you will shape the visual identity and user interface of the world's first heterogeneous compute OS. You will design everything from the CLI output to the real-time cluster visualization dashboard.
<br/>What you might work on
- Designing the "flight control" dashboard for managing global compute resources.
- Creating a visual language that communicates "industrial elegance" and "precision."
- Visualizing complex distributed systems concepts (graph partitioning, latency, bandwidth).
- Designing the marketing website and brand assets.
What we’re looking for
- A portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX skills, particularly for technical products.
- Ability to code your own designs (React, CSS, Tailwind) is a huge plus.
- Experience with data visualization (D3, WebGL) is highly desirable.
- A minimalist aesthetic that values function over form.
